Thailand - East Meets West
Ralf is getting married to Kade on December 2nd in Bangkok!!! Kade's my Thai friend from grad school same as Ralf and he's German. I haven't seen Kade for seven years. I am really excited. Ralf is in Germany right now but will move to Thailand after Spring. I was thrilled about their engagement.
Ever since the engagement news, I have been planning the trip for the wedding. After over two months of requesting for vacation, I finally got the approval. Two nights ago, I booked the tickets for Mike and me to go to China and then from south of China to Bangkok, Thailand. Next thing to do is find the perfect travel guide and start looking for tickets from China to Chiang Mai, where we will stop over for a couple days before heading to Bangkok. I look forward to a TRADITIONAL Thai wedding or at least I assume so.
